Play Optigan On Your Music

About:

The Optigan is an instrument that came in to the world in 1970. It plays cellular film discs to play back samples of real instruments. If you have searched for it then you probably know what it is. I have a complete collection of discs for it, including most of the Orchestron sounds on Optigan discs. It is a perfect instrument for adding a lofi character. There is the keyboard and also the chord section, which is rather difficult to sync up with existing playback, but let's talk about it.

Here are a few of the sounds I can add to your music:

flute

cello

french horn

caliope

organ (there are a tonne of organ sounds, with and without leslie)

harmonium

piano (really lovely in reverse)

vibraphone

guitar

wurlitzer piano

choir

solo female voice

bass clarinet

saw

marxophone

violins

saxophone

pipe organ

and for the chord section I have almost all the discs
